How to Change Nameservers

How to change Nameservers

A nameserver is a specialized server on the Internet that handles queries or questions from your local computer, about the location of a domain name’s various services.

A great simple way to think about nameservers is using a phone book analogy. If you were trying to call you might have remembered our phone number, but more than likely you’d want to look it up before just guessing at numbers.

This same story is also true for the Internet and domain names. As an example you’re reading this article right now on our domain name.

Here at Zeus Cloud, we allow customers that registered domain names through us to change their NS records.

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to change nameservers.

1) Login to the Zeus Cloud Platform

2) Click the 'Domains' button located on the left hand side of the dashboard.

3) Click the 'My Domains' option from the list.

4) Next, you'll need to click the button with 3 dots on the far right of your domain.

5) Click the 'Manage Nameservers' option from the list.

6) Now, you'll be given the option to enter in the information you need to change your nameserver.

7) Once you're done, you can click the 'Change Nameservers' option at the bottom and it'll update your nameservers.

Note: Once your Nameservers are registered, you may need to wait up to 24-48 hours for them to propagate.
